# /v1/me

> Key metadata, and the capture setting.

## `GET /v1/me`

Confirms the key and reports the caller behind it.

```json theme={null}
{
  "key_id": "key_...",
  "tenant_id": "tenant_...",
  "key_name": "production",
  "capture_enabled": false
}
```

## `PATCH /v1/me`

Turns capture on or off for the key you are presenting.

<ParamField body="capture_enabled" type="boolean" required>
  Whether this key may ship request and response bodies.
</ParamField>

```bash theme={null}
curl -X PATCH https://api.frostwolf.app/v1/me \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer fw_sk_..." \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"capture_enabled": true}'
```

The response is the same body as `GET`, with the new value. The key id comes from the credential, never from the request body, so a caller can only ever change its own key.
